The project site at an area of 92,700 m² is located south-west of Kish Island. Tehran University Pardis Development Plan is part of a bigger plan, Free Zone University Town, and includes the central building and six faculties, sport center, self-service, professors’ residency, mosque, and infrastructures.
Design and studies of this significant project paid full attention to specific Kish Island climatic features and local architecture; and application and use of renewable energies and new construction methods based on energy saving were scrutinized, then approved by eminent professors of Tehran University, and successfully incorporated in final designs.
