The objective of the project contract is renovation and functional changing of terminals, buildings, infrastructures, and public areas of Kish Airport in six parts to solve Kish air transportation problems. Studies of the project started in Aban 1391 (November 2012) within the approved Master Plan and Detailed Plan of Kish International Airport.
The engineering services including Preliminary & Detailed Design and Tender Documents were approved in Ordibehesht 1392 (May 2013) for the following three parts of the project:
1. Improvement and Functional Changing of Terminal I
2. Improvement and Functional Changing of Terminal II
3. Improvement of Public Car Parks
