This project is designed based on best utilizing the geothermal potential of the geothermal wells in Sabalan’s area (17 kilometers south of Meshkin Shahr province) and in particular, to directly utilize this sustainable energy due to its potential and the area’s limits. These studies will cover the following mentioned areas and will present solutions: 1- Technical studies including method of transmission, feed, regression, re-injection and discharging the left sewage. 2- Functionality studies including fishery, agriculture, recreation (hydrotherapy), melting of ice and snow, area heating,… 3- Location studies including the method of construction in altitudes (adjacent to wells) and the lower areas (area around Meshkin Shahr’s province)
In addition to power plant application, there are direct uses of geothermal energy (i.e., for greenhouse heating, space heating and cooling, hot water supply for leisure and therapy pools, pisciculture water needs, ice melting, supplying hot water for some industries, and other uses).
In order to make maximum use of the geothermal energy, the present project examines each one of the uses in respect to qualities of the wells in Meshkinshahr area and the energy demands.
