The location of Qeshm Island’s Persian Gulf Bio-technical park with an area of 388 hectares is 14 kilometers west of Island’s southern coast. The location and Persian Gulf’s rich geographical and natural resources have helped bring forth an opportunity for this facility to carry on its bio-technical studies. Major functionalities are considered in the design: Basic functionality (Technical, research and industrial units), Service and Support functionalities (Grow center, research, study and specialized college centers), Green spaces, route networks and also residential functionalities (for some of the employees). The number of employees until the project is finished is estimated at 16000 people.
