- Use of natural gas in power stations in order to provide heating and cooling needs of the internal spaces is prohibited due to inherent fire risk. On the other hand, electrical heaters and gas coolers prove to have high consumption of electricity; therefore, a geothermal heat pump could be the best solution to meet the heating and cooling requirements of the place.
This is for the first time in Iran that a design offers the use of a geothermal heat pump in a power station at such area.
