IKIA flight crew terminal is located in an individual building separate from the passenger terminal to process the flight procedures for the flight crew. The architecture of the building shows an approach to Iranian historical architecture resulted in, in form, a pure rectangular cubic volume with exit/entrance terraces recessed in the façades of both sides. The interior space consists of a columned hall of 9.7m height along with a mezzanine in the middle band. The building envelope is mainly transparent made of glazed cladding panel which is protected against disturbing light / floodlighting by the roof projection and glass louvers.
In an area of around 3800 m², the building houses briefing rooms, waiting hall, baggage acceptance and claim hall, security control spaces, flight crew wardrobe hall, ancillary and office spaces.
