Qom’s Red Crescent building is designed in an area of 1283 square meters in Qom city’s 15th of Khordad boulevard. In the design of this project despite the adjacencies of the land other factors were taken into account such as the climate and the culture of the province.
This building is comprised of different parts which altogether helped shape the outcome a great deal. The main design is comprised of three parts, administrative, executive and a bridge like structure which connects the two.
The administrative building with a height of 75/23 meters has one underground floor, a ground floor and is 6 stories high with a heli-pad on top. The executive building is comprised of workshops and educational spaces with a height of 19/97 meters and is 5 stories high with an underground floor. The bridge-like connector is comprised of stairs and elevators and has a height of 64/25 meters.All office spaces are open halls and are divided by light partitions.
The executive part is comprised of different parts such as a motel, drugstores, cantina, a panic room and educational spaces for the personnel and depending on the attendee there are different accesses.
Both buildings have a facade of TraverTan washed white stone and window panes. The connector building’s facade is made up of light blue 2 layered windowpanes.
