Tisa Kish II

DESCRIPTION

Employer: Tisa Kich Co.
place: Kish

In January 2010 there was a competition held between some consultant engineers to design a commercial-servicing complex in Kish Island. Due to the high significance of the project, an internal / inner competition was held in Atec consultants to select the best design to take part in the competition. Finally, Atec’s design managed to win the first prize of Tisa Kish II among about thirty contestants. The complex has four floors of commercial use on the ground level and two basement floors of parking and hyper market functions. Also some areas of the third and fourth floors are dedicated to food court, fast food, and coffee shop. A distinguishing feature of the complex is the glass atrium and glazing pyramid with a height of about 30m that is surrounded by two solid masses. The main entrance to the complex in the north side of the development is totally distinguished with an arc cantilevered mass that has given the entrance a sophisticated unique character.
