Layout studies and preliminary and detailed design of Kish Island Heliport was done by Atec Consulting Engineers. The objective was to locate the heliport in an appropriate part of the airport according to the approved master plan and for the first time in Iran, based on international codes and standards for operational use of local and international private helicopter companies.
The capacity of heliport has been projected for a public passenger terminal, three hangars and operational space for three helicopter companies, a helicopter maintenance center for domestic and international applicants, and more than 20 helipads.
All civil, infrastructure, mechanical and electrical installations are fully designed and implemented.
